Personality:Sever depression runs her actions toward an attempted suicide along with the unopened home and scatter of pictures cluttering her room. Obsession with the past and her mistakes rule her more than the overwhelming depression. The obsession to never let go of her best friend and never leave that night alone. The obsession to never let scars heal and always open the wounds. She is also very broken. Her heart seems to have been taken out but still connected, so she is inclined to live and bleed for anyone who is willing to take her into their arms, if just for a moment.
Untainted by blood stained memories, the woman is quite cheerful with how she carries herself and openly caring toward every being except a single class known as the criminals. Being expressive while not overbearing with her ideas on the topics such as Kira, L, and the media war between the two, Cassandra is a stubborn woman and will only change her views after careful analyzing and if she is forced facts in her face that are plain as day. Even being that type of person, her personality and standings aren't found as unattractive or too bubbly. She seems more so down to earth even without her past, but has an eye to look forward to a future saying that the past is something no one needs to focus on. Part of that is a lie she tells herself simply to keep from dwelling on the fact her memories and past are unknown to her.
Being the type of person she is one of her favorite activities is simply strolling in the light preferably when the sun is setting since she finds the colors of autumn that paint the sky to be very enchanting as well as the heat of any season drops around that time while making the world seem golden and beautiful. With that in mind, the girl is often found during that time period alone to attempt clearing her mind from the muddled thoughts clouding her judgment on many things.
Physical Description:
Long bronze colored hair falls passed her shoulders holding a calm yet edgy look from the casual disarray style. Fair skin glows gently in the sun's ever extending light. Her bright and overly emotional yet still enchanting emerald eyes looked outward toward the world that holds more of less disgust from her for its rotten and decaying ways that will hopefully be cured soon. Her soft curves of an well made hour glass shape are often covered with the shades of color but never anything too bright and flared unless she is going for the look on some spur of the moment decision which she knows little or nothing about, if anything she would wear a mourning black before a pastel pink. Though she is not highly athletic, her figure doesn't suffer in the least instead she keeps fit with tennis and simply avoiding just laying around in her home.
Her expressions normally reflect what she feels to be just and truthful in her heart while her eyes simply press her honest emotions on the subject as clearly as the crystal shine within them. Her voice is never overly blissful nor does she often pretend to be some type of peppy foolish school girl as the teens she teaches along with Light do. She, surprisingly, can look attractive with tears flowing from her deep shining eyes just because of the type of woman she is, but the fact falls that that appearance is probably the closest to her original emotions before the loss of her memories. The favor of all her expressions seem to be when her cheeks flame crimson while she becomes terribly embarrassed with widened or shy looking eyes.
History:
Her parents had met in a strange yet casual way. The two had been at a skating ring nearby where her father, who was on duty in the Air Force, was staying. He decided to take a break and ended up meeting the cute Japanese fresh graduate. The two were inseparable by the sixth date alone and were married in five months. Her mother was a very blissful woman who never seemed to stop loving. Her name was Nerine. She always smiled even in the worst of times to make people know that there was never anything to fear. Even in childbirth when her body had been too weak to last afterward, she smiled hoping for her husband to take care of their beautiful little Cassandra. When she passed on, her father had promised to do just that.
Her father had been kind hearted and loving. He even took young Cassandra to the Southern states in which her mother always loved. Things were full of bliss until he fell for an exotic dancer at a local club. She simply used him for his good business which effected Cassandra's views on people at once. She believed at once that people always tried to steal your money if you had some and wanted to stay at your place. The young girl was hated by the woman even after her father married with the dancer. She detested the man's child for the sole reason that she would grow up to look as beautiful as Nerine, who had and always would be the man in her new husband's heart.
So now the five year old, Cassandra had been the type to over achieve all her life to avoid being anything like the dancer slut her father married. Striving for perfection was already her life at the tender age where children were supposed to play and laugh, it wasn't unusual for a parent to push their children for success, but the way her step-mother pushed this child left her to hate her childhood. Learning how to read had become her goal before entering school, her time to play with toys and such was a shorten to a small amount of time until she had no time for such things but even when she had all of the games had to have educational value.
Being raised in that manner, she often felt inclined to strive for inner perfection as well. This strive lead her to hate her self and family. She eventually yet slowly gained a friend and the two had equal ideas and love for a common goal. However when the two girls entered the fifth grade, Cassandra began noticing her friend slowly distance herself until she committed suicide. Learning later that her friend's mother had told the girl that her life was meaningless and that she would make the world a better place if she didn't exist just because the woman was getting away with her husband's murder and wanted the money for herself. Cassandra was enraged, but her age and authority made her actions limited to merely nothing.
The young girl continued to grow keeping a wall between herself and others. It took her a while, but she finally met someone in junior school. The two at once seemed to become close fairly quickly until Cassandra almost called her a best friend and a worthy companion. After a stupid fight, Cassie found the girl trying to lay her hands on her. The teenager would not have this. In moments, the female who she had once called a friend was laying before her broken and bruised cursing her as she build up her walls once again. Her step-mother had been waiting for her explosive temper to put her in trouble. This was the chance to ship her off to a private academy in Quebec.
Her freshman year to the ending of her Junior year were full of no important events, of course she had skipped her Sophomore year from her high marks and honors, however, most of the teachers held a distaste for her as well as the students. She flourished in the solitude until her Senior year when she met a boy who openly smiled toward her and gave his name as, Darren. But their growing friendship was not to be, her friend and her were returning from a graduation party-which happened to be in Japan since the Senior vote ended up almost all voting for the famous country- once he had confessed his increasing adoration for her. She had wanted to show him the home where her mother had lived, the mother that she always had loved to hear about even after her father fell into darkness. The mother who seemed to have pushed her on. But the two were attacked.
With a gun pulled to them, her friend handed over his wallet pleading for the man not to hurt Cassandra. The girl begged for him not to waste his time defending her, but when the gun was pointed at her head, her friend began emptying his pockets onto the ground for the thief with tearful eyes. "Just let her go." Pushing Cassandra onto the ground, the criminal shot toward her out of spite laughing. Her friend and once possible lover took the shots and with his last bit of strength he made the man drop his gun onto the ground along with pushing himself over the criminal. Cassandra scrambled for the weapon and as the man moved her friend's corpse, he found the barrel of a gun bashing into his skull. She beat him with the weapon until his face was bloody and bruised then as he rose pushing her backward she fired shots into the thief with shaking hands until he was dead and covered in blood.
In shock she realized that she had just taken a life in such a brutal fashion. Sitting on the ground, she opened her cell phone calling to report the deaths of her best friend and the thief. Then she spent a few moments taking in the incident, it was painted in her mind forever now. The blood stains would never wash from her hands or at least they wouldn't in her mind.
After being questioned, she couldn't take it anymore and fled the another region of Japan-while the other students returned to Quebec. It was there that her life fell apart completely. Stricken with guilt and fear, the woman literally went insane with her sorrow. An attempted suicide forced her to a hospital where she was diagnosed with amnesia from the trauma. Her name being a distant memory as all things of her life she picked a name from one of her dreams. The name of, little did she know, her mother. Now by the name of Nerine, she was admitted into a hospital for her mental instability after a month or two her nightmares slowed to becoming nonexistent and nothing of her past remained. With the nightmares no longer haunting her mind, she began to heal enough to help around the hospital while she wasn't being treated herself. From there on, she was released finally even though her memories hadn't returned fully.
Entering a college near the hospital, she graduated wanting to start her career as being a teacher to help the young minds understand the depths of how much life was a wonderful thing and how that they all had futures to live for that she could help create if she gave them the right standing of the past. Upon graduating, she came through the college with high honors and one of the top members of her graduating class as she had been in high school. With the required degrees, she applied to join the staff of Death Note High School which was currently accepting teachers. Sadly, she wasn't able to become a full on teacher because of her "unstable" thinking and the principle placed her with his son as if to give him extra help. She didn't mind and happily accepted his job for her becoming Light Yagami's personal assistant even though the Culinary teacher was constantly glaring at her now. But something about the man lead her to want more..
