4th Month
Glorious week 16! Not. Evil had gotten nosebleeds and congestion. Then there were her random outbursts of emotion followed by itchy skin. Sciatica was yet another thing to appear during week 16. Evil missed the past few weeks suddenly as she realized it was all going back to Hell. She was about to start feeling like shit again. Her sense of smell had gotten better which only caused more stuffy noses - which annoyed her. Her breasts were still growing (she swore they were almost a D by now.) and she could even squeeze a little bit of milk out of them (though it hurt like a bitch.)
Then she was beginning to feel small flutters of movement in week 17. It felt like there was something crawling in her stomach and Evil had jumped the first time she felt it. It had taken her a few moments to realize it was her baby that had startled her. Then she had promptly told Haru about it. His child was gonna start beating her up from the inside soon. As for her weight, her bump had gotten even bigger and was now noticable for those who really paid attention.
Week 18 and she felt the flutters against her stomach more often. It wasn't kicking or punching just yet. It was just feeling around and finding the most painful place to kick when it starts. That's what Evil's excuse was, at least. She had told Haru this, saying that the child might end up being a painful handful (she was joking when she said this. Though she really hopes it doesn't come true.) when it was born. Especially if it was gonna be kicking her a lot in the ribs soon. But her breasts had finally stopped growing (Evil liked to swear they were a Double D.) yet they were still a pain in the ass, being tender. Though Evil liked to admire herself in the mirror, saying her new body was damned sexy. She was just going to hate it when she started getting really fat and it went away...
Now the week she was currently on, 19, didn't bring too much change. Except for the fact she was almost halfway done with her pregnancy. That and the heartburn...how she hated the heartburn. Evil would groan and shudders, placing her hand over her heart as it felt like her chest was on fire. Those weren't fun times. But they had been staying in her childhood cabin. Evil felt like she just had to stay there - like it was here that she was to give birth. Maybe even raise the baby. She just...felt she had to do it here...Though she hadn't exactly told Haru that yet.

They had been in the cabin for a while now. Completely alone out in the middle of nowhere... Haru thought he was going to lose it. Normally he enjoyed solitude, but when it came down to having no one else around when Evil was subjected to mood swings... it was one of the worst forms of torture.
Today, though, Haru found himself stretched out lazily upon the roof of the house. The moon was still high in the sky, and very bright. Stars glittered against the black backdrop, and somewhere within the forest about them, fireflies danced. It was a beautiful sight, actually, very magical. A small smile touched Haru's lips before he closed his eyes. He had to admit, though, there were some perks to living out in the middle of nowhere.
As he sat in silence, a small scratchy noise met the Izumi's ears. Sitting up, Haru looked about. Where was the noise coming from? It stopped for a while, and just as Haru was about to settle back into his comfortable position, it came to his ears again. The male frowned and looked about the darkness. He huffed, unable to see anything. When he was sure it wouldn't interrupt his quiet time again, Haru lay down and closed his eyes.
Not two moments later her felt a weight on his stomach. Haru froze, and opened one eye. Sitting directly on his abdomen was a large raccoon. He was just... stumped. And suddenly annoyed. With a quick hand Haru knocked the pest off of him and growled at it. Angered, the raccoon bristled, bared its fangs, and hissed at Haru. That's one mean raccoon... Haru thought and started to scoot away from the thing. It's probably rabid. Soon the raccoon began to close the distance between itself and Haru.

Evil was in the house, sleeping. She wanted to catch up on as much sleep as possible. Her dreams were peaceful and pleasant and everything was nice. But then had come the nightmare that made her shudder and whimper. She began to toss and turn and curl up, flinching away from something that wasn't there. Her teeth clenched and sweat began to slip down her forehead. Then she had awoken with a loud "no!" and shot up in the bed. Taking in deep breaths, Evil's body was still shivering and sweating. But the dream seemed so far away. What had she been dreaming about to make her so startled? Evil calmed herself slowly and rubbed her forehead, thinking it must've been from her eating a bit before napping.
The woman placed her bare feet on the cold, wood floor and looked out the window at the darkness. When would she look outside and see light? Never? Evil sighed and moved out of the bedroom and stumbled to the living room, plopping down on the floor and leaning against the piece of furniture. She was so tired...the nightmare hadn't allowed her much sleep. Her mind momentarily wondered where Haru was. Then she thought about going to find him.
With her mind made up, Evil moved out of the house and sniffed the air. She didn't have to go far since he was on the roof. So was something else...Evil bristled. She checked her distance and how much strength she would need and then jumped up onto the roof. What she saw was Haru and...a raccoon? What was he doing with a raccoon? "Um..." Was all Evil could say as she watched the spectical.

Bristled and obviously pissed, the raccoon charged Haru with a snorting growl. Haru avoided the pest quickly and watched it. "Hey! Get out of here!" He yelled at the raccoon. "Go on! Get!" Pulling one of his shoes off, Haru hurled it at the raccoon and nailed the thing right in the face, knocking it off the roof. Stupid things, he hated them. "Dammit," he cursed, "now I have to get the shoe." Right then he noticed Evil, and turned to look at her. "Done napping?" He asked as he stood up carefully - it was a roof after all. "At least one of us was allowed sometime to relax," he murmured to himself as he moved over to the edge of the roof where the raccoon had fallen, along with his shoe. When he looked down the raccoon was gone. Good, he had scared it off. Hopping down off the roof, Haru snatched his boot, returned it to his foot, and leaped back onto the roof.
Making his way over to Evil Haru wrapped his arms about her and pulled her into an embrace. He pressed his lips delicately to hers and offered a soft smile. "So," he began, looking around, "I'm still not sure why we need to be out her so far away from somewhere with supplies..." the man frowned a bit. "What if you have problems during birth?" That was something which worried him. He didn't know much about anything dealing with kids and birthing them... if something happened to Evil during that time, all of them would be shit outta luck.

"I couldn't sleep too well," Evil responded, "a nightmare shook me awake." She watched him go get his shoe and then rejoin her on the roof. His arms wrapped around her and she leaned into his embrace. Evil smiled at the kiss and nuzzled him in response. Then she began to look around at everything. The forest around the cabin was exactly how she remembered it and it was beautiful. She felt at peace here except when being reminded of her past and being haunted by nightmares she couldn't recall afterwards.
Evil didn't know a thing about children or birthing either. Yet she still felt she couldn't leave here. If something went wrong...it would all turn out ok in the end. Evil could feel it. Everything would be ok in the end as long as she stayed here. "My mother birthed me here..." She murmured softly, "I just feel like I need to give birth here, too. For some reason." She looked at Haru, "everything will be ok in the end. I just know it...the baby will be ok. As long as I stay here." She gave a small smile, thinking she sounded crazy. But she was going to fight to stay here. She wanted to stay right here - in the cabin she was in for four years. "Please believe me. I just have to stay here..."

Haru watched her for a few moments, and then gave a slight nod. "I believe you," he said with a small smile. "I still worry, though." He had the right to worry, and in some ways he thought she really needed to think this through... they weren't anywhere close to help. But, she said everything would be okay, and he wanted to believe her - he did believe her to an extent - but Haru still thought it would be best for them to be closer to help.
"We'll stay here, then," Haru said, kissing her forehead. "I'm not making you go anywhere." Shifting, Haru moved slowly down the roof and turned to look at Evil. "You should get some more rest, then. You said you didn't sleep too well because of nightmares? If you want I'll lay down with you." With that Haru hopped off the roof and walked inside, leaving the door open for Evil.
Now, normally it wasn't so, but revenge was on the mind of a particular onlooker. And, so, quietly the pest slipped into the house right behind Haru unbeknown to anyone.

Evil smiled brightly as he chose to believe her. Evil was confident everything would be ok. She knew he was worrying, she was, too. If something went wrong then Evil would do whatever she could to make it right. She would make sure everything was ok in the end. "Thank you," Evil murmured as he kissed her forehead. She almost opened her mouth again to say 'I love you' but stopped herself. She wasn't so sure how he'd react to her telling him that. Was it even true? Did she love him?
"You can lay with me if you want," Evil responded and made her way down the roof. She was not aware of the creature that had followed Haru in. She walked into the house and shut the door, stretching. "I wouldn't mind having you in bed with me." She was teasing him right then and grinned. Evil had exhausted him about two weeks ago and it had been funny. She couldn't help it that her hormones had been killing her. He should've enjoyed the fact she wanted him so much.
With a soft chuckle Evil took his hand and led him to the bedroom. Entering it, she got into the unmade bed and pulled him with her. Then closed her eyes and tried to sleep again. Her soft smile remained spread across her lips.

See? Now, why did women have an excuse? Women always got the best excuses - 'Oh, but I have cramps' if a guy said that he'd still have to go through drills. 'It's the hormones,' yeah, yeah. Hormones my ass, Haru thought as he was lead into the bedroom.
Once beneath the warm sheets he wrapped his arms around Evil and held her body close to his. He enjoyed the warmth, and it instilled an odd sense of comfort within Haru. It just felt... right. But, this couldn't be love... could it?
Outside of the room, in the quiet shadows of the house, the raccoon wandered about the house. He gnawed at everything that looked tasty, and eventually found his way to the food which was stored away. After pulling everything out, sampling - eating most of what he liked - and tearing apart bags to get to other foods, the pest grew tired. So, looking about, he crawled into a small cabinet within the kitchen and proceeded to sleep.

Her mouth opened against to speak. To try and say the 3 word sentence, but she stopped herself yet again. How could she not say it, she wondered. Being warmed and comforted by him it was almost impossible to stop herself. She hadn't felt such a sense of warmth since her mother and father had passed on. How she had loved to tell them that she loved them. What a comfort they had been to her.
Her eyes remained closed yet her lips moved in the form of the three words. She guessed it was the hormones making her want to be so close. To yearn for something to love. It was - after all - making her feel pissed, sad, or hyper at other random times. So that's what she was going to blame. But they were dating, too....so didn't that mean they were supposed to like each other? Evil was puzzled by the idea of dating. Did it mean love or did it mean...what did it mean? It was much too soon for I love you...had to be. Had to be...
Evil woke up later and blinked gently. Her dreams were yet again fuzzed but it had been a pleasant dream. A dream where she had been happy. But why had she been happy? Haru had been there if she recalled correctly. Evil looked at Haru and watched him, smiling a bit. Her hand brushed against his cheek and she leaned forward and brushed her lips against his. Then she sat up slowly and looked around, blinking tiredly.

The house was in a state of great disorder by now. Furniture had been chewed, food had been devoured and spread across the floor, and pottery had been broken. But the raccoon didn't care, actually, he was quite content. Wrapped up in a nice blanket with a fully belly... any other raccoon would give their right front paw for a chance like this!
But Haru was still deeply involved in his dreams. Of course we won't get into those, just let your imagination roam in any which direction it so chooses. Coming about, Haru noticed something pretty quickly. His arms were empty, and he was cold. Evil no longer occupied the bed, and the room was quiet. Sitting up Haru ran his fingers through his unkempt black hair and let out a jaw-popping yawn. Time to get up, he thought to himself as he moved out from beneath the covers, and stood up.
Shivering a bit as his bare feet touched the cold wood floor Haru moved out of the bedroom and into the living room... only to stop dead in his tracks. His eyes skimmed over the disorder of the room before shifting towards the kitchen whose floor was littered with food scraps and bags which had held food. A frown crossed Haru's features. "Evil," he said, looking at the woman with teasing eyes, "I know you eat a lot when you're pregnant... but... damn... don't you think you went a little over the top?"
