1 Month
She had one thought on her mind right now - kill. She hadn't seen him around for one month now. When he saw her he wouldn't understand what was wrong with her. But something was wrong with her. Something was terribly wrong with her. It wouldn't be of notice until about 5 more months what was wrong with her. Until then it would just seem like she was pissed off at everything. But when it was exposed - it would be all over. If she revealed the father, he'd the the laughing stock of the town just like she was going to become it. She was going to become a joke.
Evil Izumi walked in a slow pace down the trail called Traveler's Trail. What if he had left? Every day after their night together she had hoped to meet him again. Evil had been depressed when he had left her there alone. But she had heard his words and the kiss to her forehead had warmed her. Until we meet again was what he had told her. Well, she really did need to meet him again. She had a thing on her mind she had to tell him. Ok, she wasn't going to exactly do this peacefully. Evil was thoroughly pissed about it at this moment. It had started with the tenderness of her breasts and then she had missed her period. Those were two sure signs of what was happening to her. Evil was also getting constantly tired and wanted to rest. There was nothing she could do about it, either. It was all a chance in this time. The protection (animal guts) had not been used. She doubted he even had any with him at that point in time. There was no such thing as 'the pill' or 'abortion' (unless you wanted a nice, hard punch to the stomach or stick something up you and kill it.) No one would help her with it. Her life was basically being ruined by this.
If you hadn't figured it out by now, Evil was pregnant. She was alone, poor, and pregnant. How would she support a baby if she could hardly take care of herself? The woman had cried last night - all night- over her pregnancy. It was all over. Everything was just going to be ruined. But then her anger had taken over and now she was looking for the father. Haru. Izumi, Haru. There was no doubt that he was the one who had impregnated her. He was the only man she had ever slept with. It didn't look like they were going to have a very good meeting up again. Her eyes were a crimson color and she was ready to beat the living hell out of him. He was going to think she was insane.
Evil blamed Haru for her pregnancy. It was all his fault! He should've known better and told her he didn't have any way to protect her. But that fucking pure blood had went along with it. He had went along with it despite the risk. Was he trying to spite her or something? Was that a part of his little fucking game? Evil snarled, hoping to see him soon. She knew - oh she knew- that this wasn't going to be pretty. She would make sure this wasn't pretty.

It had been a month since Haru had seen Izumi, Evil, but he had pretty much thought about her at least once every day after their meeting. He wasn't sure how to take it, actually. Did he love her? Or was it just a physical attraction. The question had been on his mind for about a week now, and for that week he had actually been trying to find her. Haru had said 'until we meet again' that one dark morning, but now he wasn't so sure that meet would ever take place.
So, as luck would have it, during his search he just so happened to stumble upon two demons in a foul mood. The outcome was this: there was an argument and then a fight. Round one resulted in one dead demon, and another very pissed demon. Round two was a bit more tricky, as was round three through five. The official results are as follows: the angry demon left with a broken arm, nose, and many fingers; there was much blood. On the other hand, Haru got out of it with a split lip and some semi-deep scratches and large bruises. Not as much blood, but there was still some.
So, he found himself walking down the travelers trail with his hands in his pockets and a ripped shirt, which was terribly annoying because he had no money to buy himself a new one at this point in time. He had just spent his last coin on a room and some food the night before hand. In the moonlight Haru noticed a figure, a very familiar figure. His pace quickened.
As the woman's face came into view a small smile came to Haru's lips. "Well, well, well," Haru said once in ear shot, "look who we have here." The Izumi looked the female over and took a careful - and possibly life saving - note that Evil was (again) not in a favorable mood. "I've been looking for you," Haru said after a few moments of silence.

After a while of walking it just so happened to be Evil's lucky day. Her crimson eyes stared ahead as she saw someone coming from the opposite direction. The wind was in her favor and she knew who it as instantly - Haru! For a split second she felt happiness flood her. She felt suddenly very warm and a smile was on her face. But it was only a split second and was instantly gone - replaced by a dark glare. Before she had been able to open her mouth to speak to him he had spoken first.
He was acting all innocent and for a moment it fooled Evil. It made her think that he wasn't aware at all of what he had done to her. But she quickly talked herself out of it. Oh, he knew...he knew! He had to know. Who had put him up to this? Yin? Or had it been his own sick game? To do this to her to ruin her life and burden her for eternity. It was so cruel and horrible - Evil could hardly stand it. "Oh, I'm sure you have, "she spat at him, her fangs baring, "come to tell me all about it? To reveal this cruel, sick joke to me? How could you? I may be a half breed - but that's no excuse for this!" Evil growled, her claws flexing, "I have feelings, too. And a life. How could you? Did you do this by yourself or did someone put you up to it?"
Evil started toward him and her intent of spilling blood was rather obvious. "You horrible, sick bastard! Do you play this game with every woman? How many have fallen for it and how many have you laughed at?" Her eyes narrowed, "you're not getting away with it from me. You've made the wrong choice to toy with me, Haru!" Suddenly she looked depressed and hurt, "and I thought..." her voice had lowered, "I thought you might be different..." Her voice became demonic again and her gaze hardened back, "but you're just like every other pure blood."
With that she leapt forward - her claws lashing out at his chest and then the other going for his face. Instantly she moved forward and snapped at him and shadows formed behind him in an attempt to trip him so she could pin him. If that were to fail she would start throwing punches and lashing her claws as well as kicks toward his knees. Anything to get him on the ground. Anything to pin him down so she could beat him savagely for what he had done to her. What a sin he had committed.

Was it his breath or something? Haru was befuddled by the death glare Evil had, which seemed to penetrate Haru down to the very core of his soul. Now, leaving her with a promise was bad, but he had kept the damn promise - why the hell was she so mad? Then all hell broke loose. Sick joke? Did someone put him up to it? To what!? Haru gave her a blank look and seemed to be asking with his eyes what the hell she was talking about. "No one put me up to anything!" He shouted back, obviously getting pissed at her sudden burst of anger. "I'm sorry it's been about a month, but I had other things to do. We met up again, didn't we?" He frowned at her. "I've been looking for you for a couple of weeks now."
"Game?" Haru asked, frowning, "I didn't play any games with you. Dammit, you're the one who seduced me. I was trying to be nice to someone for a change... guess it didn't do me any good, because now you're yelling at me." He listened to her for a few moments before shrugging. "You're the only woman I've tried not to sleep with, so I guess you couldn't say I play this 'game' with every other woman I meet."
In a split second she was at him, tooth and nail. Haru dodged her with inhuman speed and moved as quickly as he could away from her. Throwing up shadows for his own defense, he crouched down and supported some of his weight on the knuckles of one hand. "God dammit, does it ever end?" He grumbled and looked for an opening. In a swift movement the demon lunged at Evil; he caught her by the mid-section by wrapping his arm about her and forced her backwards until he had them both clambering on the ground. Snatching her wrists, Haru quickly straddled her with his legs and pinned her arms on the ground. "Now," he said, panting a bit, "will you please calm down and explain to me what's going on? I don't understand what you're so angry about. Was it that I left or something? I told you I'd come back." An annoyed look took hold of his usually handsome features as he waited impatiently for an answer.

"Liar!" She yelled, "you liar! You wanted me to try and do it." She growled, "so it would seem like my fault. But it's not my fault. It's you're fault! It's all your fault!" Evil's attacked continued and gained in speed as well. She would be pleased when she felt her claws sink into his skin and her eyes would glitter with joy. He wasn't getting away with this. He wasn't getting away with this! Evil wondered why he merely moved away from her as she attacked. Her eyes inspected him and she chuckled darkly. "Get into a fight, Haru, huh? Bet you deserved it, you dirty son of a bitch. Who was it this time? Who was your victim this time that figured it all out and decided to give you a beating?" The woman smirked to reveal her fangs and chuckled as her assault continued.
Her attacks were cut off when his arm wrapped around her mid-section for a split second. But then she proceeded to sink her fangs into him and claw him until they both went down. Then Evil began to struggle to try and get free. Her growls and snarls grew louder and more frustrated as she realized that right now Haru was stronger then her. Maybe he was just stronger altogether. He had her wrists and her legs were pinned, leaving only her head and body to squirm under his weight. How she had longed to be with him again - but not pinned down like this. Also, she was much too angry with him to even ever consider it again.
"Don't pretend like you don't know! You had to do this to me on purpose!" Her voice cracked and almost came out into a sob. "To burden me like this after making me feel a bit happier. How cruel. How can you be so cruel, Haru? What did I do? What made me be your target?" She growled, but slowly depression and helplessness was sinking into her expression, "was it because I snapped back at a pure blood? Was that it?" Her body began to tremble. How could she have been fooled into thinking he was different? "Go to Hell, Haru. Just go to hell!"
Instantly her struggling back again as she tried to free herself from him. "Because of this game you did, my life is going to go down worse then it was. And while you will gloat about what you did to me to spite me, I'll be the laughing joke everywhere." She whimpered and again jerked to try and free her wrists. Her eyes shifted up to him, gazing at him desperately for an answer to why. Why had he done it. But it seemed like he was still playing innocent. The dark look came across her features. "Stop toying with me. Just admit you know what you did. Just admit you got me pregnant on purpose to make my half breed life horrible!"

Game? Everything was a damn game with her! She was playing games right now! Haru was getting furious. He had absolutely no idea what was going on and he was just about to give her a piece of his mind when the word slipped out. His eyes widened and his body went stock still. "P-p-p-pregnant?" He was finally able to stutter after getting past that initial shock. "You're... pregnant?" He asked. Haru's jaw dropped and all the strength slowly seeped out of him. Whatever color was in his face drained, leaving him a ghostly white color as he slowly stood and moved away from Evil. What kind of trouble had he gotten himself into now!? Haru rubbed his forehead before running his fingers through his hair. A heavy sigh passed through his lips and he looked around helplessly. He was going to be a father?
No... No! No, no, no, no, no! He clenched his jaw tightly and shook his head. "Evil, I had no intention of getting you - or any other woman - pregnant. I don't want to be a father! Never have!" .... "Dammit." He rubbed his face with both hands frowned. "I'm sorry..." he said quietly, looking at her. "I really am..." He didn't know what to say, he was too numb, and in too much shock. "If... you need help..." He frowned. What was he doing? If he didn't want a kid, then now was the time to run. "I'll help you."

Evil watched him as he went still and shock overcame him. She blinked and her eyes slowly faded back to black. Did he...not know? This was just...a mistake? A mishappening? She suddenly felt guilty as she stared at his expression and wanted to shrink down. She had taken her hatred of pure bloods out on him again. She had assumed this had been a sick joke to ruin her. But it had never been intended. Never been intended at all...Haru had moved off her and Evil slowly stood up, watching him. What was he going to do now? She watched him sigh and sort of slumped. "Yes..." she whispered, "I am pregnant." What else could she say...other then answer his question?
As she watched him she saw how he was freaking out. How he began to explain how he hadn't meant to do it -which she had already figured out- and how he didn't want to be a father. Then he rubbed his face and apologized to her, and then he offered help. But she could see it...she could see it in his eyes. He wanted to run away. He wanted to leave here there to suffer. Evil had suffered a lot of her life, she could stand a little more, right? Why drag him down with her... "I don't want to be a mother..." she whispered, "I don't want anything to do with children. I can't support...I can hardly support myself..." Tears had come to her eyes and she backed away, "but...it's rather obvious what you'd rather do. You don't want a part of it." She bit her lower lip, "I-I'm sure I can deal with it...I...or maybe...I'll just...." Dump it? Kill it? "Leave it with someone else." Heh, she'd be making a mistake if she did that. Anyone else would kill it. "I'll..." Evil turned and stood very still, crossing her arms and gripping the sleeves tightly. She had tortured him enough today just be accusing him and then telling him of her pregnancy. There was no need to push it. She could handle a little more suffering... "I'm sorry our meeting again had to end like this..."
The Izumi started off slowly, "sorry to bother you. Hope I didn't hurt you. Have a nice life....Haru..." If he'd rather run away, then she'd run away, too. Neither of them wanted this. Evil would find a way to do it...she had to. Though a father would've been nice for the kid. I can't believe this is happening to me... She thought quietly, feeling liquid trickle down her cheeks. What did I ever do to deserve a burden like this?

He felt absolutely guilty. Inside it was a storm of emotions. He wanted to yell at her for starting it. He wanted to kill her for putting him into this situation. It was all her damn fault! He hadn't wanted to sleep with her, but she pressed it! He shut his eyes and fumed quietly for a few minutes until he allowed the blame to pass. Slowly he began to accept the responsibility that had been dropped onto his shoulders and a quiet sigh slipped through his teeth as he slowly slacked his jaw.
Haru took a few steps towards her and stopped. He watched her back quietly and crosses his arms. "Listen," he said, reaching out and touching her shoulder, "I meant what I said. I'll help you." He frowned slightly. He had just shut the door on any possibility of freedom, and had damned himself to a life of fatherhood. But, after growing up with a father who practically abandoned him for two other loves (women and alcohol), Haru had promised himself that he would try to be a decent father when the time came. He never thought it would've come so soon, though.
Turning her to face him, Haru locked eyes with the woman and sighed. "We're both to blame for this, and to have one or the other take full responsibility for the consequence is... unethical." He grimaced a bit within. Just run now! something screamed at him. Just run now... but there was nowhere left to run. "And if you're wondering why a pure blood - or whatever - is helping you... I'm just different. I really could care less for the hierarchy of things. It's stupid. Evil, I'll help you out in anyway I can. I promise."

He was angry with her just like she had been angry with him. Evil closed her eyes and shivered, wishing he'd just kill her. But he wasn't going to do it. That made her want to scream at him again. Death would be such a bliss to her - especially right now. She didn't want a child. He didn't want a child. If he killed her then it'd kill the growing baby, too. The problem would be solved. She would be happy and gone and Haru could go on living his life. She was going to become a burden to him now. Why did he not just slit her throat or just run away? Evil could find a way on her own...she'd find a way...
"Hn," Evil merely murmured in response. He wanted to run away, she could feel it. Why didn't he? Why didn't he just run away from her? The pain would seep in and hurt her for a while that he didn't care. But she'd get over it and would be fine on her own. It was better then both of them suffering. It was so much better...but the best option was her dying. That would be the greatest option - in her opinion. You don't want to help. I hear your reluctance. Haru was so much younger then her and had a chance for a promising life. Why would he waste it on her?
She was turned to face him and her eyes were saddened and dull. He was trying to talk himself into staying. She shook her head softly at him, thinking he was insane. He was stupid! He was so fucking stupid! Evil felt the urge to slap him right across the face. Just leave. Leave her! Leave her there alone - like it always ended - and spare her the pain later. Her tears became known and she gave a soft sob, covering her eyes to try and hide them. "...You're an idiot. Do you know that?" She managed, shaking her head still. "Do you know what could happen to you and I for this? Other then pure humiliation and being jokes. If you wanted to leave, you should've just left me."
The woman scooted forward quickly and leaned against him, letting her forehead drop with defeat on his shoulder. What was she going to do...? She didn't want a part of this. She wanted to get it over with and then leave it. She didn't want to be a mother. She didn't want to be stuck like this! "You know.." she tried to make herself sound teasing. "Humans would be forced to marry because of this." It was a pathetic joke to try and make her laugh. Epic failure.

Haru wrapped his arms about her and held Evil's body close to his. With a gently sigh he shook his head and dismissed the joke. "I really don't care what the pure bloods think... Izumi, I hate them. I hate Yin. She hates me." He shrugged and looked down the trail. "I try to cause as much trouble as I can for Yin... I'm pretty sure she doesn't appreciate it, but it's always funny to see her ticked. She's definitely one for hissy fits." He laughed a bit, deep in his chest, before letting it fade. Carefully he rested his chin on her head while he delicately rubbed her back. He hadn't ever felt anything like this before, towards any woman he had been with. Why was she so different? This bothered him to no end. He wanted to know. Only time would tell, he guessed... only time would tell.
Leaning back a bit, Haru looked Evil in the eye and offered her an almost apologetic smile. "I was raised by my mother to be a polite kid. She died when I was twelve and my father subjected himself to alcohol and whores." Haru had never spoken of his past with anyone before, and doing so with Evil left a funny taste in his mouth... it was like the words of his past coated his tongue with grime and it made him grimace. "After that... I never really got along with my father. I pretty much raised myself... and after that I decided... if I was to ever father a child, I wouldn't leave them stranded like my father had done to me." His eyes held her own in an intent stare. "I won't run away."
"Not yet, at least," he said with a slightly teasing grin.
