Personality:
With eyes that see past a person's appearance into their soul, she judges people mercilessly. Theresa's past and old life-style lead her to believe that people like her father deserved to die. She believes that those who are rotten should not be allowed a chance for the justice system to mess up that they should just be erased from the world like dust is swept away from a dirty floor.
Theresa's attitude toward life seems a bit less shy than most even if her past was horrible. She doesn't like for others to look down upon her or her mother because of their father's mistakes. Trying to forget her past, she often seems distant as she thinks of what she would have done to him with her strengths both mentally and physically now if she could get her hands around his neck.
She is not a cold-hearted person to those who she believes are good. No, to those people, she is kind and loyal. Being a hard working student, she often saves her day dreaming for her escape to the roof during lunch or an activity period. She isn't afraid of trouble or danger anymore, because she believes she has already had the worst crime ever happen to her. The crime when someone she trusted or loved abused her in a way that she can never mend.
Physical Description:
Long beautiful sandy Blondie hair falls down her back. She stands at a tall and unusual height for her age. Eyes holding a distant look that gazes back into her troubled past shine of two different colors, the left of a beautiful sapphire while the other shines of a gentle hazel often a shade of green. Unless they're covered by her contacts of a soft autumn leaves falling to the ground. Her appearance seems a bit older than she truly is.
With a slightly below average waist line, she is very applied in the sport of soccer, but never open with her love for the sport. Her fit-figure is from her training in karate which had made her confidence about herself rise once she arrived in Japan. She appears to have a large bust without seeming too overbearing with her assets. Theresa's healthy life style is from her mother's cooking, which Theresa fails horribly at mimicking the Japanese style compared to her American style food.
History:
Born in the southern United States, she had always been an outcast. No she wasn't an outcast simply because of her love for her mother's culture. It was partly for her life style. She didn't let anyone close enough to learn about how her father mistreated her. Bruises, cuts, and when her mother wasn't willing to spend the night with her, he turned to his daughter. Theresa was broken spirited. Focusing on her school work and avoiding people had become her life.
Since in her home being pushed around was an every day thing for her, she spent her time indulging herself in her mother's culture of Japan. Mixed emotions held her when her parents began their fighting which ended in a swift devoice. With her mother leaving for Japan, Theresa wished to follow but believed she would be held in the boundaries of her home country. She was left behind with her father, who continued to abuse her. Her mother left only the promise to return and take her to a better place.
Once the final nine weeks of her eleventh grade year arrived, her father began dating once again. Every woman he seemed to bring home left the house with the lingering smell of alcohol and cigars. The women were all clearly nothing more than one night stands that her father had found when clubbing with his college friends. She was happier knowing that her father's abuse lessened from his sexual desires to simply beating her. Theresa couldn't take much more after the woman who seemed to appear more often than the others broke many of her gifts she had cherished from her mother. Knowing that her father would be horrible enough to love this woman, she escaped in time to make a call.
She contacted her mother in Japan begging to be taken to this "better place" soon before it was too late. The next days, she avoided staying in the house as much as she could. She knew that if her father were to marry that disgusting woman, Theresa would runaway only to be found again and abused even worse than before. No one would miss a social outcast who dreamed of a much different life if he were to one day beat her to death. When her mother arrived on a plane to take her back, her father let only the words "I never wanted you around anyways". The words fell upon Theresa's ears as she stared coldly at her rotten father leaving the reply of "I've hated you all my life".
As she left back for Japan with her mother, life seemed much better. With healing bruises, she felt like a new person. Learning the language had been a pass time for her in America. She felt as if her world had finally changed for the better after her parent's devoice.
Once arriving, she quickly realized how difficult it would be to adapt to simply seeing everything in another language along with cosplayers along the streets with every poster girl a Japanese girl instead of those flawless Blondie American girls. She preferred the Japanese girl much more. Even if it would be difficult, she realized how much better this place would be.
Adapting to the Japanese fashions, which she already loved in America, she fit in with the crowds already since the cuts and bruises began to heal. Speaking the language became easier for her once she spoke it regularly with her mother, who could correct her if she mispronounced something.
However, when school came around..she got nervous.
