Good flinched as his attitude took a 180 degree turn and he was suddenly the Kei she knew. His eyes sparkled and she was reminded of a child as he bounced over to her. Telling his tale of how he caught the vampire and how it had caught his apple. She couldn't help but let a very slight smile twitch at the corner of her mouth. It was sort of funny to see him act like this. But the darkness she had seen early was still fresh in her mind. It caused her muscles to tense ever so slightly as he moved to face her. He pointed at Cehhan and Good took another shy peek at him. Kei was still babbling so she turned her attention to the man. It was polite to listen till he was done talking. Though she did have the authority to stop him, she wasn't going to. It was still rude in her opinion. She had to try hard not to cringe at what he called her...Princess Good...how she hated such a high title.
Fun? Great? Good watched him, having a small smile on her face. He was such a child, she swore...a child at heart. But he also seemed to have another side to him. She didn't like seeing that side of him. It was probably only for the threats, though. He surely wasn't like that toward her and wouldn't be, right?
The female moved forward slowly and gazed at the vampire. It was the first time she had ever seen one in her life. Though Kei said he was ugly, Good felt her heart skip a beat. He was astounding! Everything about his phyiscal feature seemed perfect and he had lovely skin tone. Good's cheeks turned a very slight red but mostly from a shy feeling in her. Would he talk to her?
Her eyes shifted a bit toward Kei as he finally stopped talking. "I don't think we should do that..." she frowned a bit, "but we do have to keep him here for a while. Until mother decides what to do with him." Her eyes shifted back to Cehhan and she leaned closer, smiling at him. "Hello...my name is Good. Can you speak?"

Cehhan could only watch painfully for a few minutes as the scumbag finished his rant, finally realizing the human had made herself known. Something he did not expect, however, happened. The human took a complete twist, as if it was never sadistic and psychopathic. The vampire himself did not see that coming, nor would he imagine it could act in such a manner. It didn't matter now, though. The aura had been down here for quite some time to hear nasty threats and the real perverse sack of meat it was. Hopefully. So appalled that this had happened, it caused Cehhan to blink, even. He had to give it to it, it was a good actor. Preferably too bouncy and light-hearted for Cehhan's taste, however. This very thought angered the vampire. It had just lied right to her face and thought it could pull itself off as innocent? But when it pointed (fakely) excitedly in right at him as though Cehhan were some animal on display, the vampire strained against the chains, his muscles flexing tiredly and growled at the accusing finger, snapping his teeth. If only he could get between the bars to actually do some harm to the human...
Surely the naive bystander could not intentionally believe these obvious tall tales, though! It was an absurd thought that she could accept such deception after witnessing the human's real side. This scum bag's excitement was absolutely disgusting, watching it beam with instigation though as he'd just found something dead and showed it to someone. The very thought of being observed like some animal that had done something funny allowed the anger in Cehhan to arise again. He could feel the bubbling of a snarl build in his chest, but held it down in self-control. Aimed directly at the male, his scarlet gaze eyed the flesh carefully, imagining ripping to to shreds and observing the priceless reaction. The burning arose in Cehhan's throat again, wanting the male's blood so badly. He could not comprehend if it was either that he needed to hunt, it was the desire for human blood, or sheer revenge. It's scent was so putrid, though. But the sound of it pumping in his neck where his jugular was enough to diminish the scent and allow the hunger. But at the breaking point now, when the human mentioned something of Cehhan being their toy and docile, that's where he snapped. The snarl this time did break from his chest to his mouth where it ripped out, resounding loudly against the stone walls.
The coldest expression overtook Cehhan's facial features, a warning if they should try something like that. It didn't matter, he was poisoned and dying already, but he was not going to go out a slave to humans. His pale and ill body strained once more against the steel chains holding him back, the vampire spit onto Kei's feet. There was no way in hell this human was going to get him to speak or 'throw in the towel', especially when it mentioned him as something of a pet. However, Cehhan did not wish to act this way around the aura. She seemed harmless, to innocent to do any damage. With his hostile behavior, he most likely intimidated her, which was not what he wished. Instead of intimidating further, the vampire fell back against the stone-cold cell wall, his limbs falling weakly back to the position where the chains held him. However, when she shyly approached him, his scarlet gaze lifted up to meet hers.
With the usual rhythm of her heart Cehhan listened to, it abruptly skipped a beat as her eyes fell on him. He could see the blood rise up to her face in a blush, and almost instantly she captured his complete attention. She was...interested in him? The vampire was taken aback by the usual, normal reactions of humans when they discovered such a...monster. His expression became soft, approachable. There was nothing she could do to hurt him. This girl was unusually sweet. She was beautiful. Her eye color matched Cehhan's, her pink skin tone, her brunette hair...When there was a 'human' this attractive, nearly always was it a succubus. However, they were extremely seductive, in which she was not. Nor did she care to keep Cehhan as her pet. He was immediately relieved she wouldn't let something as that happen. However, he was aware he could not leave. Well, now he was left to rot in here with poison running through his veins.
Her face coming in close contact with the cell slightly puzzled Cehhan. She didn't seem to understand he was dangerous and could do damage to her, either that or she did not believe he would do such a thing. (In which he could not.) So Good was her name...He filed that information in the back of his head for later use and then looked her in the eyes. Of course Cehhan could speak. Because he was vampire did not mean he did not contain human abilities. If anything, they were extremely advanced. But instead of letting this inclination bother him, Cehhan glanced at the human beside her, his lips rising to show his canines briefly before there was only silence in the cell. It was more of a gesture that the vampire refused to speak while around the male who'd threatened and caged him like an animal. A pet.

Kei was ever such a good liar. He could act like the childish fool who served his princess and only his princess, the nice fellow who seemingly came out of nowhere and got such a lovely position next to the woman who would eventually be his betrothed. In truth? He was just a conqueror. He subverted and played his part, but the very second he got the upper hand he would milk it for all it was worth and unleash his rage at the world. Wasn’t that their purpose, anyways? To be his entertainment, all day every day? This, of course, excluded Lord Akumu, but that was a different sort of thing. They were alike, him and Akumu. The world would eventually bow at their feet, Lord Akumu would rule, and Kei would slink back into those beautiful shadows he knew so well. God, this was going to be such fun. Such joy and happiness and unparalleled ecstasy. He wanted—no, deserved all of it. Why? Because he’s awesome, to put it simply.
However, she didn’t want to keep a pet. Why did she not want to keep him around? Was she afraid of the stupid thing? Ugh, how dull. Girls were such fickle and fragile things to him. They had three modes: whiny, stupid, and embarrassed. He liked the latter of the three best. That wasn’t it, though; she was talking to it. She told it her name. Why would she tell it her name? It didn’t deserve the dignity of knowing the name of the princess. Oh, Mother would decide, all right. There were only a few options. One: she would execute it. Quick, simple, easy. Problem solved, but not much fun unless Kei was the one doing it, and sadly that was the executioner’s job. Two: she would keep it here. He liked the sound of that. He would like a toy. And who knows? If they domesticated the thing enough, maybe he could tie it up in chains, poison it, and go for walks. With a leash, of course. It would be a good way to “get to know” Good better, while walking the vampire.
Three: she would release it into the wild. That was the worst of all. If Kei was not the one to do it, and therefore not the one who would kill it as soon as they were out of sight, then it might come back for vengeance. He didn’t want a stupid vampire to kill Good and ruin all of Lord Akumu’s flawless planning. The thing could never kill him, of course, but he was Kei and Kei was immune from death. Or so he thought. How could the only real person in the world die? Simple, he couldn’t. But Good might, and that would be obnoxious. Pretending to be concerned about the vampire’s snarls and snaps, he stood protectively close to the princess and looked a little serious all of a sudden. He put his hand on the dagger in his belt. “Princess, be careful. This vampire isn’t domesticated, it’s feral. It may be aggressive and dangerous. Please stand back,” he said while putting a hand on her shoulder, and sounded like he meant it. The vampire did look a bit softened by her… but, such things didn’t matter. They were mindless animals. It couldn’t even talk like a real human being.
Believe it or not, he really did care what happened to Good. He didn’t want her injured. This was because he wanted to marry her and make his Lord’s plans complete. It also wouldn’t suit him to wed a one-armed girl who had been mauled by a vampire. Who wanted a wife covered in scars, after all? For that matter, who wanted such a disfigured princess? If she was disowned, the plan would be ruined. There was no way he would leave their sight unless she ordered him to. If this foolish girl got too close to the bars and the thing bit her… ugh. A vampire wife. He did not want any of that. But still, she was princess, and she got to decide if she wanted her bodyguard nearby. It would look bad if he didn’t follow orders. On the other hand, if the thing had a grudge against its captor, it might not speak in his presence. If that was so… no, not worth the risk. Besides, like the miserable dogs they were, Kei had heard that they could smell people a mile away. Hiding wouldn’t work, and Good would be endangered. Therefore, this idea was very bad.
He wanted to tap his drums again, they were getting too loud in his head. This situation was making him uneasy. She wasn’t supposed to be here, this was Kei time with the vampire. They were too noisy, and it wasn’t so easy to hide since he wasn’t used to this pain. The man looked as if he had a nasty headache and was trying not to show it. How could he not, when there were war drums going off in his ears like explosions? It was a wonder the ground wasn’t trembling! He had learned long ago that nobody else could hear them, but still, it was off-putting to hear something so loud and be so alone in it. Still, he heard them nonetheless, and eventually he would have to dance in the drumbeat amidst the ruins of this God forsaken castle. Dancing to the drums… That sounded nice.[/size]
